En m\u00e9decine v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire, le m\u00eame protocole que celui utilis\u00e9 en m\u00e9decine humaine est employ\u00e9 (injections de chimioth\u00e9rapie, application des impulsions \u00e9lectriques, etc.). Cependant, une anesth\u00e9sie g\u00e9n\u00e9rale est obligatoire pour les animaux.<\/p>\n
Les animaux peuvent d\u00e9velopper des effets secondaires locaux, tels qu\u2019un \u0153d\u00e8me ou de la n\u00e9crose, et n\u00e9cessitent des visites de suivi toutes les deux semaines pendant la p\u00e9riode de gu\u00e9rison.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]

L\u2019ECT peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e seule, en une ou plusieurs s\u00e9ances.<\/p>\n
Ce traitement peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 en tant que th\u00e9rapie adjuvante. En plus d\u2019une chirurgie ou d\u2019une radioth\u00e9rapie, l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de l\u2019ECT est maintenue car le taux de prolif\u00e9ration des cellules est \u00e9lev\u00e9 dans ces cas-l\u00e0.
